In Asia, the Blue Pea flower (or also widely known as butterfly pea, or in our local language as Bunga Telang) is no stranger on the plate. Widely seen in Nyonya sweet delicacies, and also as a natural colouring of local rice dishes like Nasi Kerabu (Herbed Rice Dish), do not underestimate its powerful benefits.

It's beauty is not just skin deep, really.

Blue Pea has amazing soothing and calming effects on the skin and is great for all skin types.  Research shown that it has positive effects from its flavonoid, Quercetin,  on skin & hair.  The blue butterfly vine flower, rich in bioflavinoids, has been used traditionally to promote hair growth. Little known that for centuries women in Asia have used the Butterfly Pea flower to promote dark, lustrous, thick hair.

We have paired this soap with one of the best clays, the Rhassoul clay.  This is an ancient clay and a definite spa favourite.  It has beautiful ability to gently purify even the most sensitive skin types.  Rhassoul clay promotes shiny, lustrous and clean hair if used to wash your locks.  Of course, it is wonderful for gentle skin exfoliation.

Blue pea tea together with Rhassoul clay then makes a total dream soap bar.  This soap cleanses well with high anti-bacterial component in blue pea, amazing for acne-prone skin and facial pigmentations.

Sunflower oil in this bar will protect and sooth inflamed skin, and the higher content of olive oil in this soap provides essential fatty acids.
